Lag When Recording High-Resolution Video

C. Android phones generally have no lag when recording in 4K or 8K while casting.

Overheating or Lag During Use

A. Too many background apps may cause lag – close unused apps.
B. Recording uses the camera, GPU, and CPU together, which can increase heat and power usage. This is normal.
C. Casting also increases power draw and heat – this is expected.
D. High screen brightness may cause the device to heat up. Lowering brightness can help reduce heat and extend battery life.
